Hello, My name is Christopher Mock, I am a Street Photographer currently based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Allow me to elaborate on why street photography saved my life. I’ve had an eye for photography ever since I was 18 years old. I spent this time developing my vi- sion, developing ideas and compositions in my mind. I’ve been behind the lens for 7 months now. My style of photography is constantly evolving; I do black and white, then I switch to color without breaking a sweat. Overall, I create images I would want to see. The tools I use first and foremost is my eye. I believe it doesn’t matter what type of camera you use as long as you have the eye. Second, I use a smartphone (iPhone 7) or Leica V-Lux 30. Lastly, I use my heart; I shoot only if I feel pas- sionate about it, which I believe is the key to my success. I don’t do this for style points, likes and confirmation on social media, etc. When I say street photography saved my life; it saved my life from depression, it reignited my pas- sion for the arts, and my purpose redefined. Life is so much sweeter from behind the lens. My goals are set; I intend to have a long career in this field. One day, I plan to teach the next generation the basics and finer points of image making. Thank you for riding with me on this photographic journey. Till another day, Christopher Mock
