Flippin’ Good Burgers 505 Fremont ST. Las Vegas, Nevada 89101
My summer was such an amazing time, that lead me on many food ad-
ventures. While in Las Vegas I decided to give the local spots a try.
Flippin’’ Good Burgers was located on Fremont st. and it was just a break
from the busy street of Downtown Vegas. It had the feel of a local brew
pub low key and laid back environment. I was in the mood for a snack
so I had the chili cheese fries, crispy fries smothered in Texas style chili
smoky and sweet with a dash of heat topped with melted cheese. The
crispy chicken salad was warm and cool on fresh greens, avocado and a
tangy vinaigrette. The Nashville heat was a crispy chicken breast on top
a brioche roll and dressed with a spicy buffalo sauce. That sandwich was
juicy and crisp everything a chicken sandwich should be. They also have
specialty drinks I had the Cuppa Joe Jack Daniels, creme de cacao, butter
pecan and cold brew coffee creamy and robust with a kick of jack. As a
perfect ending I had the orange vanilla float which was a classic child-
hood treat. If you have the chance to travel to Vegas checkout Flippin’ Good Burgers.
Desert Valley Brewing Co. 3700 Ellison Rd. NW Albuquerque, NM 87114
This hip spot made me think of my travels to Vegas and my visit to Flippin’ Good Burgers. They have the
same kick back feel without the traveling. I had the pick three appetizer portabello mushrooms fries with
a avocado cream sauce. Green chile fries with a sweet and spicy aioli for dipping. Oh and them cheese
curds served with a fresh tomato marinara. This was not your ordinary fries crispy with a light tempu-
ra batter. I also had the street tacos the veggies taco fresh pinto beans, a crispy green chile strip. The
Pulled pork taco was different and delicious a beautifully cooked pulled pork tender and sweet topped
with BBQ sauce and sweet pickles. And the Carne Adovada taco slow cooked pork and local red chile a
