i, readers! I can’t believe it’s already October. So, picking up where we left off, other trends
that are taking off this fall are those famous, fanny packs that almost all of us were obsessed
with in the mid-90’s. Celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Rose Huntington-Whitely
have been spotted with this trendy hipster bag across the globe. All in luxe designer iterations,
the fanny packs signals the epitome of cool.
Go native in shearling and colorful Navajo inspired knits from sweaters, jewelry, boots, coats,
and handbags. Another must-have for fall are silver linings. Look to the future with the sea-
son’s bright and shiny metallics from bags, bomber jackets, geometric silver earrings, pencil
skirts, and pants, and even black eye shadow is complimented with a touch of silver.
Another signature must-have that women should own in their closets this season is mens-
wear. From oversized blazers to bouclé jackets and the mixed print bags from the Michael Kors
collection. The look is smashing with a touch of a ruby polish which is the perfect staple for fall.
Add color to your world with bright colors. A styling tip for those who are having trouble is to
dare to wear one hue from head to toe as shown in the pictures. Go crafty in floor-sweeping
dresses, with textured knits. Shearlings strike the perfect balance with native-inspired neck-
laces with a hint of coral. Add an eye shadow palette in neutral colors like a light brown. An-
other styling tip is the use of texture to add dimension to earthy patters.
Go all out in fur accents. Fur coats have been around for a few seasons now, and there is no
going back. This fall, expect to focus on the details with fur
accents as seen on the runways of Marc Jacobs, Michael
Kors, and Sally LaPointe. Go back to the 1980’s with the col-
or graphic tees as seen on the runways of Burberry, Jeremy
Scott, Moschino, and Mary Katrantzou.
Last, the must have accessories that most certainly rock this
fall are cowboy boots as seen on celebrities like Kylie Jenner,
and the scarves as seen on the runways of such designers like
Karl Lagerfeld. Colored scarves were the epitome of class at
Chanel.
