O ne of the most exciting additions to Falk Laboratory School for the 2022-23 school year was the arrival of our AnjiPlay materials , purchased with 2022 Pitt Day of Giving donations .
The spirit of AnjiPlay and its “ True Play ” ethos , which emphasizes a child-centered approach to play that empowers children to imagine and construct their own play spaces , is an ideal fit with Falk ’ s philosophy .
From the moment our AnjiPlay materials — which include boxes , tubes , ladders , planks , and mats — arrived , Falk students have been drawn to the lower terrace , where they ’ ve created an ever-changing array of configurations and arrangements to suit their imaginations . ■
