solutions to overfishing
ther is little time to waste when it comes to overfishing to stop this from contiuning to happen we need to act now. there are ways that we are able to help save the biodiversity in our oceans. We need to buy local fish, this will help because there are better regulation laws in the usa then in other countries it will also save energy because fish wont be transported as far. we also need to eat small fish, 90% of our big fish are gone! we need to fight our government to create more protected areas in the ocean less then to 2% of our oceans are protected. having more protected areas will allow fish to repopulate and replish to a sustanable level which will help the oceans ecoystem. we need to fight our government to ban trawling. Huge nets dragging across are oceans pciking up anything in its path catching tons of fish. By-catch is a big promblem which leaves other species to die. we need to educate people about the consequeses and make people more aware of the issue
