4) Make Yourself Over: If a complete salon makeover is what makes you tick, get an appointment! If you prefer to do it yourself, have a tight budget, or don’t have the time then try one of these 15 minute fixes: Change the way you style your hair. Curl it, straighten it, pull it back, just make it different. Paint your nails, give yourself a facial, mix and match your clothes in a new style, add some color to your wardrobe, if you don’t wear makeup then use it and vise versa. In 15 minutes you can make subtle changes that make you feel better.

3) Set Goals: You’re never going to get there if you don’t know where you’re going! Write down your personal goals, read them often. Set realistic goals with specific timelines. If you haven’t truly thought of what your goals are lately, Do NOT skip this step.

Goals not only give you direction, they keep you centered.

2) Take Inventory of Toxic Relationships: We all have them. We most likely will always have a few people in our lives bringing us down. I call these people my “frienemies” (The ones who belittle or slyly put you down.) Although it may not be possible to completely end these relationships, it is possible to either limit your time with these individuals or stand up to them. If you’re a negative self talker, then you are believing what these poisonous people are saying even though you may not realize it. Make a conscious effort to have people around you who build you up, listen, push you when you need it, make you think and make you feel good. All others..avoid as much as possible.
