Marie Curie Cancer Care is a national charity which gives people with all
terminal illnesses the choice to die at home, surrounded by the people and
things they cherish. Our nurses give free hands-on care to terminally ill
people, and vital emotional support to their loved ones. But the sad fact is,
every five minutes someone in the UK dies without the care they need at the
end of their life. That’s why we fundraise to provide more nursing hours to
reach more people. A placement year at with us will be interesting,
challenging, office-based and in the community.
