CABs offer free advice to the public on debt, housing, employment, benefits and other issues. There are many volunteering opportunities at the CAB such as becoming a gateway assessor, who performs an initial triage interview, a generalist adviser who gives full advice, a social policy campaigner lobbying for change in policy or law, or as a trustee, helping to manage a bureau.
