on the skills and abilities that you will
develop as a volunteer. Before you
can start the KSCV Platinum, you
must have already completed some
voluntary activity whilst you have
been a student at the University of
Kent and preferably undertaken the
KSCV Silver (50 hours) certificate.
Depending on your course, you may
be able to choose KSCV Platinum
as a credit bearing module (15
credits instead of another module
choice). If that is not possible, it will
show on your degree transcript as
an extra module on top of the
modules that you would need to
undertake in order to meet your
degree requirements.

All you need to know to progress
into legal careers. This talk is for
both law and non-law students who
are interested in a career in the legal
professions (solicitor, barrister or
legal executive). Careers in law are
very competitive; you need to be
prepared to compete at the highest
level. This talk will help you to
identify the extra-curricular activities
you should be getting involved in
and how. We will also look at work
experience and how to get it and
finally, but importantly, the support
available to help you achieve your
aims.
