years, he’s always just been in different bands.
His last band, we did a show with them and
after their show he came up to me — we asked
him to audition for our band a while back, but
he was already in another band — he came up
to me after this one show and said, “I should’ve
joined this band a long time ago.” We’ve known

Criswell: We actually got Jared off of bandmeet.
com.
That actually works?
S: Yeah! I went through like 20 pages of drummers and was just about to give up and clicked
on one of his videos. Luckily he put his phone

it’s like, “That’s the same motherfucker that
works for the company I do!”
S: We finally feel like we got the right lineup
with the right guys with the heart and the hunger to make this happen.
Are you looking to record anytime soon, now
that you’ve got a new lineup?
S: In October we’re going on tour with Rains for
about 8 weeks, and then over the holidays we’re
going to try to get in the studio and write some
new stuff. Last year about that time we toured
up north and we hit that blizzard and we were
up there for like three weeks and it was terrible,
so we’re like, “This time, let’s just go record.”
C: We’re in the midst of starting writing for the
new record, one of which we played tonight.
We’re really excited to get
