their debut album “Goliath” and it was just that, GOLIATH. With songs like “I Smell a Massacre”, “C8h18 (Gasoline)”, and the first single from the album “Magnolia Blvd.” The Butcher Babies arrived on the Metal Scene with an agenda, Kick ASS and Melt Faces. Goliath never failed to impress. Ranking at number 3 on Billboard’s New Artist/Heatseakers chart as well as charting in on the Top 200 at number 112. In 2014 Butcher Babies headlined their own tour along with Nuclear Blast label’s Anti-Mortem, a band that blends Southern Rock into Metal, for one hell of a tour. Not resting on Goliath Butcher Babies have released an EP with a remake of “They’re coming to take me away”. When asked about the single Heidi and Carla agreed that they feel it wasnt a re-make so much because the song only had a beat to it. They were able to “tear it down and write their own spin of a very fun song”. It is indeed a VERY fun spin and even better seeing it performed LIVE as the ladies break out their studded masks and get a little more “dominating” with their audiences. In their spare time the ladies do have other things that spark their own interests. Carla has penned “Death and Other Dances” a full novel and Heidi is working on developing a full clothing line.
