The data analytics market in India is expected to grow by 67% to USD 1.15bn in 2015 from USD 375mn in 2010. ? Business research claimed the largest share of 44% of the knowledge services outsourcing market in India in 2010, but is expected to drop to 39% primarily due to growth in segments like data analytics and legal process outsourcing services. The two are to emerge as the fastest growing segments in knowledge services, pushed up by organizations seeking data driven decision making. ? The offshore analytics industry is highly fragmented, with most vendors reporting revenues less than USD10mn. A strong consolidation drive is expected to transform the sector within the next five years, leaving 3-4 strong players, with revenues greater than USD 500mn, as leaders on the market.
