Dear Members,
On behalf of the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) Board of Directors and myself, we hope that your 2014 Golf Season is going well.
It gives me the pleasure to share the recent achievement of our U-15 National Team. The team was comprised of Saeed Al Balooshi, Mahmood Skaik, and Mohammed Abdulla. These fine young gentlemen had a successful journey to Ghala Valley Golf Club in Oman at the GCC U-15 Golf Championship. Having limited experience, these young golfers proved that their golf game is at a mature level. With guidance of the EGF Development Program and Coach Jason Froggatt this team won the first place prize in the Team Net Category. This experience is a textbook example of how junior golf in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is continuing its passion, integrity, and development.
We are experiencing a brighter future for the game of golf in the UAE. With the support of the UAE Golf Clubs, EGF golfing community, and EGF Partners - golf is growing stronger and more comprehensive in the country.
