Starting to work once I get established; and I'm talking during university, is a priority. I will study culinary arts. And that means that my first job I'll get paid very poorly, as in any other field. Starting from the bottom means gaining a lot of knowledge, but gaining very little income. But according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the mean annual wage for chefs working in the United States as of May 2011 was $46,600. And that is pretty good, actually investing more on the subject, actually a well established Chef is on the top 10 best paid jobs in the US.

I envision myself working as a chef, or maybe starting a business in which culinary utensils are sold as well as food, but also one of my dreams is to be a food critic. But thinking about it and talking to people that have worked on these field they say it is a very draining one. Both sentimentally and physically. I think my income per month once I graduate from college and get a well established job has to be over 50 000 pesos. Thinking about all costs of living and having a decent life in which once in awhile I can rate myself to different things. Also to have money left to be able to invest and produce money with very little risk, so I'm not in the risk of losing everything.
