Why Hult? It’s the professors that make Hult so
special. Each one is able to give multiple
practical examples to back up their theory, and
many are able to magically transform the
classroom into a real-world business
environment, which greatly accelerates learning.
I am able to walk away with tools and skills that I
can immediately apply to my everyday life. I
don’t know that I would get the same kind of
immediately tangible results at a more
traditional institution.
How has the EMBA program benefited you?
I am a chemical engineer with no formal
business training, but I’d accumulated 20 years
of on-the-job business experience. I started my
own consulting company in 2014, so my main
priority has been to learn the theory behind
my practical experience, ensuring that I don’t
have any blind spots as I develop and grow
my company.
What impact have you seen in your
professional life so far? The Hult experience
has allowed me to hone my leadership skills,
striking the perfect balance between diplomacy
and driving forward to get the job done. I have
also walked away from nearly every course with
a new idea, business model concept, or
innovation opportunity for my industry. I’m
currently moving forward with several of these
concepts, including the development of a new
digital platform.
