Why did you choose to do an EMBA as an entrepreneur?

I co-own and co-run two businesses: Labsus&Freud, a digital advertising agency, and
PopTheQuestion.it, a wedding invitation e-commerce platform. I wanted to take my businesses
a step forward and, since I had only just become an entrepreneur, I felt I needed more core
business knowledge and competencies to succeed. On a more personal level, I believe in
lifelong learning and constantly trying new things—it‘s the best way to keep your job interesting
and challenging.
Why Hult?
I was considering studying at a well-established Italian university, but since my businesses
are focused in the digital space and I needed to build practical skills, I was fascinated by how
Hult stood out and what the school could offer. Applying and enrolling was a very smooth and
easy process, and I was also really impressed with everyone I engaged with. The ease of the
online application and the helpfulness of the Enrollment Team both highlighted useful business
lessons in themselves.
What have been some key learnings from your time at Hult?
I realized I’ve underestimated key communication and leadership traits, which are so critical in
leading a high-performance team. I’ve also really enjoyed the marketing course, where we’ve
spent time assessing and applying different pricing models. I’m currently trying to incorporate
some of these into my own business strategy. I have to admit that returning to studying is not easy,
but there’s something so satisfying about investing time into things that you really care about and
believe in. I find this naturally gives you a supplementary dose of energy to make it a reality.
