Luis de Camões was a national poet. He is considered
the most important figure of the literature. He was
born in Portugal and he died in Lisbon in 1580 and his
most famous books are: Os Lusiadas 1572, Sonnets and
Other Poems, A ilha dos amores: texto dos Luiadas de
Luiz de Camões.
