Wild Oats starring Demi Moore, Jessica Lange and Shirley MacLaine was shot in lots of places of Gran Canaria island. The capital city and the south of the island and its great hotels and beaches
can be seen in the film.
Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard were part of our island when they came to shoot Allied. We can see lots of spots from Vegueta and the port in this film. While they were filming in the island lots of fans went to see them. Brad Pitt was especially nice with all of them and said hello wherever he was near them.
But is there any reason for this boom? Obviously, there is. Although our islands are beautiful and with great variety of landscapes, the fact that the tax incentives for film productions in our country has changed recently, has encouraged the producers to choose the Canary Islands for their settings.
Whatever the reason is, the fact is that we have been able to see great film actors such as Brad Pitt walking our streets. So lights, camera, action!!!
