Jaromír Jágr
Jaromir Jagr is a well-known ice hockey player from Czechia. He is known for his achievements in NHL and Winter Olympic Games Nagano 1998. Every average Czech knows him. In NHL he played for Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Dallas Stars, Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils and now for Florida Panthers. He played also in KHL for Avangard Omsk. He was born in Kladno that’ s in central Bohemia. In February he will be 45 years old. That’ s insane for an ice hockey player. His in game position is right wing.

She is a Czech model, well known as Victoria’ s Secret Angel. She was born in Děčín( our hometown). She studied at our school too. She is 32 years old. Kurková is among the world ' s top-earning models, having earned an estimated $ 5 million in the year 2007. Mario Testino said that the proportions of her body and her face have a high energy level. Her model career started when she was only 15 years old, thanks to her friend who had sent her photos to an agency in Prague.
Miroslav Tyrš
He was born in 1832. He was a Czech art historian, sports organizer and founder of the Sokol movement. His family lived in Děčín for some time. But then they moved to Austria. Sokol movement was created because of his bad physical condition that gave him interest in sports. His motto: „ Jump, climb, but not crawl“.
Petr Čech He is a professional Czech footballer. He plays as a goalkeeper in Premier League. He was born in Plzeň that’ s in western Bohemia. He had played for Chelsea since 2004 to 2015. But now he is playing for Arsenal in Premier League. He is wearing a leather helmet because of his injury in match against Reading on 14 October 2006 when he was hit by Stephen Hunt inside the penalty area. He has played football professionally for about 17 years and in May he will be 35 years old. His in game number is 33.
