more special.
UNIVERSITY TRIPS
Every year we go to the universities which are in different cities, like Istanbul or Ankara. We get information about
these universities. These trips are effective in our university choices.
SCOUTING
Scouting is one of the most interesting activities in our school. Scouts attend to ceremonies every year, December the
tenth. In these ceremonies they are on duty near the Atatürk statue in the Big Garden. They go camping regularly.
They learn to set up a tent.
ART STREET
It is a corridor in our school. This part is the most beautiful place in our school. Imagine a corridor full of paintings on
the wall and music. Now imagine paint boxes, paintbrushes in here. And there are two rooms, a music room and an art
room. Did you imagine? If you did, you are at the Art Street of our school. Our art room is like an opening door to a
different world. There are paintings, statues everywhere and there is a piano above all.
Ibrahim KUYUCU, Aysu Aylin KAPLAN, Beyza GÜNER, Şennaz ÖZSAN, and Kübra ORUÇ from our e-twinning team
made interviews with three students and a teacher in our school. They talked about the school, subjects and their free
time. Here is the interview:
S1: Actually, I don’t like the lessons because they’re so boring and effect
my psychology negatively. I think the lessons are nonsense and students
should not be measured by their accomplishment grade. If you want my
opinion, we must have only lessons which we prefer.
S2: I find the lessons are boring and unnecessary except field subjects.
Because I believe students can do more necessary activities to reach their
goals.
S3: There are some good lessons. For example, Maths, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. But there are a lot of
unnecessary lessons, too. For example, Histo
