conscientious listeners. More then any of the glamour surrounding him, it was this ability to captivate all he came into contact with that made Elvis the special person that he was.

Only one soundboard from this tour has surfaced and the FTD label recently put it out officially as Elvis As Recorded At Boston Garden. Sounding better then ever, I suggest you put on this release as you leaf through the pages. The gap that existed between the images Elvis conveyed on film on vinyl in 1970 and 1972 is considerably lessened. If elements of both those era’s are present, the Elvis of 1971 had something special of his own.
