Dear Reader,
The exciting thing about obeying God is finding out just what He had in mind (planned) for
you!
Sometimes obeying God seems daunting,
especially if it means we have to venture into
the unknown or if it will be a massive change
to our lives. We give in to being afraid, and
staying comfortable in this cosy coccoon.
We get so comfortable and secure when our
lives seem to be ticking along nicely. Your
husband and maybe you have a nice, secure
job, You have a great house, cars, beautiful
clothing, your kids have lots of toys etc. So
what is wrong with that?
trust God to take care of you. I don’t want to
live like that. I don’t want to be happy with
mundane, I want to fully trust God to knock
my socks off with His plan for my life.
Take that step, take that leap of faith, trust God
to do what He does best. Looking after you as
you live your life according to His plan. Obey
Him and live in this amazingly exciting journey
called life!

A few problems come to mind though:
* We fall back into the habit of not relying on
God.
* We do not seek God’s will for our lives.
* Our focus shifts from God to what we have
and what we can accomplish.
Don’t misunderstand me, there is nothing
wrong with having more than enough and living in God’s bountiful provision. The problem
is relying on yourself and your earthly posessions.
The problem comes in when God tells you to
do something and you don’t because your are
too secure in your coccoon and you do not
