is here!” What I love about this scripture is the ‘anyone’ part. Meaning, no one is too bad, broken, or Poor for God to do a glorious work in. We need to see the importance of not giving up or losing hope and choose to ‘walk through’ this season because God in His incredible faithfulness has refreshing and blessing not too far away. Our lives were never purposed to carry bitterness, despair, unforgiveness, envy or hatred. We have been destined to carry love, joy, hope, peace and most of all God’s very presence. ` © Foral | Dreamstime.com - Butterfly #3 Photo The book of Ecclesiastes, in Chapter 3, talks about how there is a time and a season for everything. We experience many seasons in life. Some seasons may be filled with joy or sorrow, or some could feel like you are in a dry barren land, while others may seem to be enjoying a plentiful harvest. Or you could be like me and be going through a season of dirty nappies, endless washing and Kindy drop offs. Whatever the season, I believe God uses them to teach us something about ourselves or more importantly about Him. I love Psalm 84 because it talks about the valley of Baca, which is also known as the Valley of weeping. It is a season in one’s life that is painful but it also talks about as you pass through it there is abundant blessing and refreshing on the other side. Verse 6 of Psalm 84 makes it clear that God never purposes for anyone to stay in a ‘Valley of Weeping’ because it says “when they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs”.
