Following Jesus Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. - John 14:6 - Beautiful woman, do you know that Jesus loves you? He truly does! He wants what is best for you, He wants you to be saved. If you have not yet given your heart to the Lord and wish to do so, here are some steps that you can follow. Remember that this is between you and the Lord. You can do this quietly, or if you wish with a friend, family member or someone special that you trust. You have to admit that you are a sinner. (everyone sins but through Jesus we try not to sin) “There is no one righteous, not even one;” - Romans 3:10 Be willing to turn from sin. “In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent”. - Acts 17:30 Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried and rose from the dead. (Jesus overcame death and sin so that we can be saved) “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved”. - Romans 10:9-10 - Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Saviour. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” - Romans 10:13 - Prayer Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal saviour. When you pray, you can decide whether you would like to talk to God out loud, or if you would rather say it quietly. God will hear you! Remember to talk to God in prayer every day, read your Bible everyday, find a church where you can worship, be baptized and learn more of God with fellow believers. Tell others about Jesus Christ and share your story. God bless you! Please contact us if you need help in finding a church near you, or if you need prayer. We would love to help.` Page 67
