Do you perhaps agree that God has hands? Do
you agree He wept as His Son suffered and died
so cruelly? Then as a man would rend his clothing
in great sorrow and anguish in those days, from
the neck down, exposing the place in which the
heart resides, do you not agree that this veil in
the temple was ripped open and torn asunder by
God Himself, in the agony He suffered through the
death of His Son, on whom was laid all the sin of
the world?
Could it not also have been
an act of sheer desolation and
grief? Beyond the veil, we see
the heart of the Father.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whosoever should believe
upon His name, should have eternal life.” (John
3:16)
The veil of partition is broken down. He came so
that whomever may believe and confess Him as
Lord God could receive the gift of eternal life with
Him forever. Rejection of that gift is what sends
people to hell. God would not that any should
perish. (2 Peter 3:9)
Psalms constantly repeats His mercy endures forever. The Bible tells us that God is not a man that
He should lie (Numbers 23:19) and in Jeremiah 29,
He tells us that His plans for us are good and that
in Him we have a hope and a future.
