And you have to go back even further – to Saturday November 30 – for our last home match, a local derby against Cullompton Rangers. Today we welcome our vistors, Saltash, from Cornwall. Earlier in the season (September 14) we earned a point with a 1-1 draw at the Kimberley Stadium. We rode a luck for most of the first half and found ourselves taking the lead after the break with a great goal from young Josh Hopkins. The 16-year-old headed home a great delivery from Brett Worbey. We held on until near the end when Saltash levelled with a disputed penalty – I’m sure Tom Daley would have been proud of the dive!!! However, with 10 men – Andy Rogers, who was making his debut, having being sent off after receiving two yellows – we held on for a deserved point. ..............................................
