Another young player that now has a full
season’s experience with Parkway after
joining from Plymstock United in February
2012. All action footballer who is genuinely
two footed.
A new building containing changing rooms,
refreshment bar and spectator toilets were
completed in 2011-12 after protracted
issues over funding and planning – facilities
recognised as among the best in Devon and
Cornwall non-league football.
Mike Landricombe
(defence/midfield)
Tall and commanding player who is equally
at home playing in defence or midfield, and
is also a threat when he pushes forward
from the back in either open or set plays.
Joined from Elburton Villa, where he was
rated as one of the league’s top performers
last season .
In season 2012/13 Parkway finish runnersup in the SW Peninsula League, and beat
Welton Rovers 3-1 at Bolitho Park in the
club’s first ever FA Cup tie. The reserves won
the East Cornwall Premier League and a
new pitch-side bar and clubroom was
opened during season. An Under-18 side
was also formed.
Will Stringer (defender)
The captain. Not only a very capable
defender, but is also superb at retaining
possession and starting counter attacks.
Missed nearly 18 months with a knee injury.
An expert from penalty kicks.
This season – which saw the introduction of
an Under-16 side – is the club’s 25th
anniversary season.

Marc Bonney (defender)
Ben Elphick (goalkeeper )
Relatively young member of the squad who
is now in his fifth season at Parkway. A
naturally left footed, fast covering full back
or central defender who is strong both in
the tackle and with his head.
Returned to Parkway midway through last
season after a spell with Saltash United.
One of the most reliable goalkeepers in the
league. Has just embarked upon a career in
the British Army.
Luke Rundle (full back)
Dan Law (goalkeeper)
Pacey, attacking left back rated by many as
the best in the league last season and gets
into goal scoring positions with regularity.
A very important signing from last season’s
Peninsula League Champions, Bodmin
Town, this past summer.
Devon County youth player. Signed from
Tiverton Town as cover for Ben Elphick.
Sam Hillson (full back/midfield)
In his second full season as senior player. A
teenager who first came into the side as a
busy midfield player, but is beginning to
establish himself as a full back. Son of
manager Wayne.
Danny Gaze (full back)
Vastly experienced attacking full back
who joined from Stoke Gabriel in Ô page 7
