Good evening and
welcome to tonight’s
visitors Liskeard Athletic.
Buxs
banter
Liskeard have had a bumpy
ride this season, drawing four
games and losing all the rest. They will
probably get a win under their belts before
the end of the season, but I trust that it will
not be tonight!
Last Saturday we probably gave our worst
display of the season at home against St.
Blazey. We just couldn’t get going.
I blame the demanding fixture list we have
faced recently. Saturday’s game was our third
in eight days – some of those against top
sides – and we looked aboslutely knackered.
We just didn’t seem to have any energy in our
legs and we got what we deserved. We really
needed to have scored first as that would
have boosted confidence and given us
energy.
We didn’t use any energy on
Saturday so we should have
lots of it tonight. We need
to get that game out of
our system, so hopefully
the players will react to
that lack-lustre display.
Unfortunately, once again
I have had to juggle my
squad with Darren Goff
still away on holiday and
James Skinner and Daniel
Tapp unavailable through
work.
Enjoy BUXS
