Buxs banter Our visitors today are Launceston who finished 5th in the South West Peninsular League last season, so it should be a good test today. The absence of Darren Veale and Steve Harris (both on holiday) and Liam Pike and Liam Thomas (both suspended) gives an opportunity to others to keep and earn the shirt. Pre-season is about fitness and bonding of players only. The players are looking forward to the challenge of the new league and season. We know full well the SW Premier League is a very good level and test. Eight other Devon sides visiting Horsdon Park will surely create more interest and visiting support and, with less travel from our point of view, our future is playing our football in Devon and Cornwall, not travelling to deepest Wiltshire and north Bristol and beyond. Finally I would like to welcome Dave Griffiths and Dave Cooke to the off-field management team. Enjoy Buxs (Peter Buckingham) ..............................................
