CLUB TRUSTEES: Alan Cockram, Peter Buckingham, Phil Howe & Pete Garnsworthy. Buxs banter I spent two enjoyable years at Cully and am looking forward to renewing old aquaintances. Today, hopefully, we will see a good crowd and a far better game than the one witnessed back on October 1 this year. The match was played in constant driving rain, but to be fair, Cully deserved their 1-0 win after our poor performance. Today we look forward to playing at home at long last – it’s been seven weeks today since our last home match. We have visited nine sides away from home out of our 14 league fixtures played to date. And after today we have another three weeks to wait before our next home fixture – Camelford on December 21. Later in the season home matches will be coming thick and fast. Because of player unavailability and other reasons, I have had to use 27 different players so far this season with only Joe Moore and Brett Worbey ever present. But, hopefully, we now have a more settled squad. Having Blakey back after his long lay off, and joined up front by new signing Lee Radford, has been a bonus and we hope for better times ahead. If our result against Torpoint last Saturday is anything to go by, we know we can hold our own in this Premier League. Creditable draws away against Bodmin, Saltash and a comfortable win at Bovey means most of our points have been earned away from home. Now we need to get some points at home starting today.
