Elmore have badly missed the striking power
of James Blake, who injured his medial
ligaments in the first game of the season back
in August. However, after being out for 11
games, he made a surprise return in our last
home game against Elburton Villa – yes, that
was SEVEN weeks ago today! He played the
last 45 minutes, and was soon back on the goal
trail, netting with a header and having another
disallowed (bottom photo in film strip). He has
since started to form a formidable partnership
with new signing Lee Radford.
