Huw can play in a number of positions.Previous Clubs: Liskeard, Ivybridge and Porthleven Tom Chambers (23/08/85) Signed for Bodmin Town at the start of the 2008/09 season. One of the best central defenders in the League, in what has been the best defence in the League for the past six seasons. Reached 250 games for the Club last season. Has an exemplary disciplinary record which has seen him receive a total of just five yellow cards during that time. Previous Clubs: St. Blazey, Truro City Steve Simmonds (06/09/84) Joined from neighbours Wadebridge at the start of the 2005/06 season, making an instant impact on his debut. Played more than 300 games played for the Club, most of which have been as Club Captain. Steve has a disciplinary record that matches his central defensive partner, with just five yellow cards in as many seasons. Previous Clubs: Wadebridge Sam Matthews (02/04/83) Has played for Bodmin Town for the past four seasons, signing from Plymouth Parkway. With several new squad members for the 2013/14 season, Sam will be the longest serving midfielder at the club, having played more than 200 games for Bodmin Town. Previous Clubs: Torpoint Athletic, Liskeard Athletic, Truro City, Plymouth Parkway Luke Hodge (27/07/78) Has been associated with Bodmin Town for longer than any other player in the current squad, with more than 250 appearances and more than 100 goals for the Club. Although his appearances have mainly been as a substitute in the last couple of seasons, he has proved he is still a valuable member of the squad. Previous Clubs: St Blazey, Porthleven, Falmouth, Wadebridge Lee Doel (06/04/87) Signed from Plymouth Parkway during the summer of 2012 and had a tremendous first season. His obvious enthusiasm, added to his terrific ability is a great asset to the squad. Previous Clubs: Plymouth Parkway, Saltash United Shane Jewell (01/05/90) Played for Saltash United last season and has already proved his ability as a talented left back who likes to support the attack down the flank when the opportunity arises. Previous Clubs: Newquay, Liskeard Athletic, Saltash United Matt Lindsay (03/05/88) An attacking midfield player who transferred from Liskeard Athletic during the summer of 2013. Has the distinction of playing for the Cornwall U18’s side, where he was the top goal scorer. Previous Clubs: Dobwalls, Liskeard Athletic Nick Doel (31/12/89) Joined early in the season from Vospers Oak Villa. Played for Bodmin Town last season, when he was part of our East Cornwall League side. Nick now joins his ‘famous’ cousin (Lee) at Bodmin Town. Previous Clubs: Elburton Villa, St Blazey, Callington Town, Vospers Oak Villa, Bodmin Town (ECL) Jonny Ludlam (18/03/86) A talented midfielder, signed from Newquay in the summer. One of his claims to fame is he played at Wembley for Truro City in the final of the FA Vase. Previous Clubs: Truro City, Falmouth Town, Penzance, Newquay Matt Drummond (19/12/79) An experienced striker who has played for several of the top sides in Cornwall. Joined from Falmouth Town. Not fully fit at present. Previous Clubs: Penryn Athletic, Penzance, St. Blazey, Newquay, Falmouth Town Robert Stapleton (03/12/82) Plays in the centre of defence. A proud firefighter where he has served with the Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service for ten years. Has represented Cornwall, England and the United Kingdom at football with the fire service. Previous Clubs: Truro City, St Austell, Perranporth Danny Bance (27/09/82) Has played for Bodmin Town on two previous occasions (2007/08 and 2010/11). Has experienced more than his fair share of injuries which has restricted his playing career, suffering another injury in the opening games of this season and is currently out of action. Previous Clubs: Plymouth Argyle, Tiverton Town, St Blazey, Liskeard Athletic Jimmy Alexander (01/12/85) The first of three recent signings, who has played for several of the top sides in the ‘Peninsula’ League. Previous Clubs: Falmouth Town, Tavistock, Plymouth Parkway, Torpoint Athletic Chris Wright (06/09/87) Joined recently, having started the season with Tiverton Town. He is one of the top strikers on the local football circuit, having previously played for Exeter City.
