Strike 42: This fun filled event was based on one of the most classic games of all time, BINGO which saw a total head count of 60 participants.

Paper Presentation: This event was held to promote the research culture on campus and we received entries even from students from mechanical and civil background. This event was judged by our senior most faculty Prof. N Rajesh who was very much impressed by the ideas presented by the participants.

Talk on Biomembranes: Alchemy in association with Biology, Pharmacy and Physics Associations on campus organized a talk by Prof. AmitabhaChattopadhyay, a J C Bose Fellow and an Outstanding scientist( Director level) at Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology. It was a successful talk and saw a great turnout from both students and faculties.

Anatomy of Murder: Alchemy in association with Biology and Pharmacy Association organized Anatomy of murder which brought out the inner detective in the participants. It also saw a huge turnout of around 200 participants. During this event the participants used the chemistry, biology and pharmacy labs to analyze the evidence left at the crime scene and solve the murder.“ Technology, more than fashion itself, changes everyday”, this statement has proven itself true in each and every field of science. At Alchemy, we took up a decision to release a bi-weekly newsletter that sums up the most astonishing inventions and discoveries that took place within the fortnight. The newsletter,“ Chemazine” has four editions till date and has been appreciated by the tech-savvy souls of the campus. That’ s all for now but the alchemy team is still working hard to bring more fun-filled and interesting events in the future. work.
