 They fully support the Paris Climate Conference and believe that more countries
should sign this agreement and that those who have signed it should make sure
to abide completely to it.
 In a paper entitled "The Agriculture we Need - Environment, Health, Agriculture
and Fisheries", the S & D team is asking Europe to take the lead in a sustainable
agricultural system at a global level. It also calls on it to push for closer synergy
between sustainable, healthy agriculture and human health, and to take
initiatives to help agriculture help to preserve rural areas and protect EU farmers
in international trade.
 European agriculture can provide high-quality food for all Europeans, decent jobs
