The Hippo Boutique hotel in Cape Town recently donated
duvets, pillows and other bed linen to Siphil a Sonke in
Grabouw. The donation was initiated by Kevin and Sandy
King of South Hill Guest Farm. Siphila Sonke fieldworkers
handed out duvet’s, pillows etc. to those beneficiaries
identified as the most needy amongst them. “This donation is a wonderful initiative and much appreciated by our
beneficiaries who are all chronically ill. These beneficiaries
live in cold RDP homes, without ceilings or floor coverings
and others in Shacks which are often not windproof,” said
Rachelle Appelo of Siphila Sonke. On the picture are Sandy
King, Rachelle Appelo and Linda Brown sorting the linen.
