"They exemplify all things that are right in my life. I can’t get through a hard day without blasting them in my ears. I feel they understand me.” That reaction is mirrored again and again when talking with their followers.
Weisker and Carrasco started the band in 2010, and auditioned Giguiere as the lead singer and he fit in almost immediately, which led them to audition Salantino. Salantino has such an explosive stage presence as well as the fact that she is multi-talented on several instruments. Being a female in the rock scene has not intimidated her one bit. In fact other women look up to her as an inspiration. She brings energy to the group that is a rare find.
They bring a no-nonsense business attitude. They enjoy what they do but also recognize that performing and writing music is not all fun and games and you have to be smart about what you
are doing. Some Fear None takes their rehearsals seriously and even has a whiteboard in the rehearsal studio.
Along with performing and writing, the band also gives of their time to help up and coming young artists. They are definitely doing it right by giving back. They support other bands as well as appreciate their fans whole-heartedly whether it is for 5 people or thousands. Some Fear None is definitely worth catching live and you can even hear them on the local rock station 98 Rocks Local Licks.
