Despite the tough and traumatic time of her son’s diagnosis and illness, Alethea continued to push through school, determined to finish.

With the love and support of close family and friends Alethea cared for her son and graduated from the University. After the passing of her friend, Monique Nelson in 2010, Alethea felt hollow. Her friend was killed from the crossfire of gang violence while merely strapping her son Jayden into his car seat.

Eleva8up is about elevating life and business, which is sincerely a huge umbrella of topics that we like, and that affect us in everyday life. With all that she has been through in life, Alethea and her ELEVA8UP team will share with others an eclectic perspective on life and business through a myriad of topics ranging from life, relationships, health, wellness, technology, fashion, food, and much more.
