Mit einem technologieneutralen und anwendungsorientierten Ansatz stellt die WCM drei Leitfragen als Ausgangspunkt für seine Aktivitäten :
• Was sind die Anforderungen für den spezifischen industriellen Anwendungsfall ?
• Welche Technologien sind dafür geeignet ?
• Wie können sie umgesetzt werden ?
Mit mehr als 100 Mitgliedern bietet die WCM eine Reihe von Publikationen , Veranstaltungen und Erfahrungsaustauschen an , die aus der Zusammenarbeit ihrer Mitglieder entstehen . Ziel ist es , interessierten Unternehmen bei der Auswahl und Implementierung von drahtlosen Kommunikationstechnologien für industrielle Anwendungen zu helfen . Das schließt auch regulatorische Aspekte unter besonderer Berücksichtigung von KMU-Anforderungen ein .
Der VDMA vertritt in seinen Fachverbänden , Fachabteilungen und Arbeitsgemeinschaften über 40 maschinenbaurelevante Branchen und deren Teilbranchen . Bereits heute stellen diese Branchen hohe Anforderungen an eine moderne drahtlose Kommunikation . companies , automation technology companies , research institutes as well as information and communication technology companies on the integration of industrial wireless communication into products and production systems . With a technology-neutral and application-orientated approach , the WCM has three guiding questions as the starting point for its activities :
• What are the requirements for the specific industrial use case ?
• Which technologies are suitable for this ?
• How can they be implemented ?
With more than 100 members , the WCM offers a range of publications , events and exchanges of experience that arise from the collaboration between its members . The aim is to help interested companies with the selection and implementation of wireless communication technologies for industrial applications . This also includes regulatory aspects with special regard to SME requirements .
The VDMA represents over 40 sectors relevant to mechanical engineering in its trade associations , specialist departments and working groups . These industries are already placing high demands on modern wireless communication .
