How They Met

On a long weekend in July of 2000, Stewart’s family decided to head to Kincardine, Ontario, for a
camping trip. Through a connection to Stewart’s stepsister, Laura, Natalie found herself vacationing
on the same trip. As two naturally shy people, Natalie and Stewart didn’t expect to experi ence an
instant chemistry. However, as fate would have it, they did. Two years of dating followed and on
June 23, 2012, the couple began the next chapter of their lives together when Stewart proposed to
Natalie on a flight from Saskatoon to Toronto.

The Ceremony

Held in the Conservatory at Casa Loma was Natalie and Stewart’s romantic and whimsical ceremony planned by Laura & Co. Events and decorated by Rachel A. Clingen Wedding & Event Design.
Aisles were lined with tall Manzanita trees covered in various shades of lush cherry blossoms
as Natalie made her way to the altar to the soft melodies of a string quartet. Family gave heartfelt
readings, the couple proceeded to take part in a rose ceremony and personal vows written by each
other were shared.
