How They Met | Sheena went to high school with Alex’s cousin and first
met him at her 19th birthday party. Over the next four years, the two crossed
paths at various outings but never really got to know one another. Eventual-
ly, Sheena threw a party and sneakily invited a friend of Alex’s—since she
was too nervous to invite him herself—and told him to bring him along.
That night, they hit it off and have been inseparable ever since.
The Ceremony | With Catholic backgrounds, it was important to Sheena
and Alex that their ceremony had a pastor they felt comfortable with. They
went for short, simple, sweet and to the point with a reading of a poem from
James Kavanaugh titled “To Love Is Not To Possess.”
