The Reception: Following the ceremony – held at
the Madonna Della Difesa in Little Italy – was the
start of Marco and Adrianna’s one-of-a-kind wedding which kicked off with a stupendous cocktail
hour set under the sweeping canopy of the Plaza
Volare tent. From buckets of Champagne to boxes
of wine and an ice sculpted Grey Groose station,
guests were welcomed to a never-ending supply of
refreshments. As for their growing appetites, endless platters of gourmet hors d’oeuvres were up for
grabs: oysters, sushi, Italian delicacies, an exclusive Schwartz station, a mini Jean Talon market and
mini pizzeria among others.
The Décor: The Plaza Volare was shining brilliantly in white and gold décor with colour accents found in the floral arrangements, tableware,
seating, dance floor, menus and grand chandeliers
hanging overhead. Short and tall candles lit up every table, creating a romantic ambience all around,
with focus on the newlyweds’ private round table
set up in the centre of the room. From beginning to
end, the evening was stocked with entertainment.
Guests were graced by a variety of different dance
performances in the reception as well as designated
bride and groom quarters titled, “Chez Marco” and
“Chez Adrianna” respectively. The night was simply one never to forget.
