Natasha Launi photography: The Bride Says… “So much time and thought goes into the planning of your special day. Make sure you enjoy every moment. Just remember that at the end of the day, you are marrying the love of your life, and your closest friends and family are there to celebrate your love for one another and that is what truly matters.” The Ceremony| To honour the bride’s beliefs, Norman and Jaclyn had a traditional Jewish ceremony. The reformed interfaith rabbi—flown in from Texas—did a wonderful job of explaining the important elements of Jewish traditions, while also uniting the groom’s faith. The Reception | Immediately after the ceremony, an elegant cocktail hour took place featuring a stunningly styled Champagne station created by Nicolina Servello, a savoury “sushi boutique” and a spectacular ice seafood bar. After cocktails, guests were invited to enter the ballroom. Guests walked under a glorious entrance composed of 8,000 tulips suspended from the ceiling with an incredible seating chart. The Decor| Without a doubt, Jaclyn and Norman’s wedding—planned by Marsha Brumer of MB Events along with Christine Pickrell and Lorne Levitt—centered on tulips. Layered glass tables, lucite chairs and a custom backdrop to the band and bar were all created in a way that showcased the tulips. To keep the atmosphere elegant, elevated staging and a custom high-shine dance floor were incorporated.
