W hen installing the drain on aircon units, you can often find the head unit drain will not fit the outside conduit drain without heating it up first. After recently doing the old heat-up-the-conduit method (which wasn’t ideal) I discovered a simpler way. Using the deburring tool you use to deburr the copper pipe to scrape the inside of the outside drain. A couple of scrapes are just enough to allow the head unit drain to fit nice and tightly into the conduit. It saves a trip to the truck for the gas bottle, and also the time it takes to heat up the conduit! THANKS TO PAUL KLICIN FOR SHARING THIS GEM. SHARE AND WIN BIG!
