ustomer rang me lamenting that
the Network Operator would not
change his switchboard meter for
the new solar panel install due to the positioning of the
Service Fuse. As you can see, the overhead supply cable
goes under the verandah rail to the service fuse just above
the deck floor. Obviously the upstairs front deck was
added after the power was originally connected to the
premises. I promptly advised the customer that the service
fuse will need to be moved or changed to underground to
resolve the problem!
