With demand side reduction becoming even more of a priority for
government, smart heating controls are coming to the fore. Particularly
impactful are smart, multi-zoned heating controls like the evohome from
Honeywell.
First launched in 2012 and with a colour screen version made available in
2014, the third generation of the evohome features Wi-Fi onboard, further
simplifying the creation and control of heating zones in domestic properties.
With the ability to programme up to 12 heating zones, the evohome has

using a smartphone or tablet, enabling consumers to take better control of
