As technology has progressed , many more opportunities exist within the sector for contractors as many ‘ smart ’ products can be installed free of complex programming or in-depth specialist knowledge . Full support is not only available from suppliers , but many of the products offer self-configuration and programming to make selling and fitting the products hassle free and available to a wider range of companies . Some of the product areas well suited for contractors to take advantage of include intelligent lighting systems , building automation systems , multi-room music systems , smart security and CCTV systems and Internet and Wi-Fi systems , all of which will be featured at EI Live !
The event is also promising to offer not just a trade show-floor , but meaningful learning experiences that enable visitors to take away tangible benefits and plough them back into their businesses .
