(Nathan stares at his filthy hands and sits on the floor.)

I am stuck here. I will always be stuck here. I am guilty. I am dirty.

(Nathan starts to yell and cry out to the ground above him.)

I am ashamed! I make mistakes! I am not perfect, I’ve been here before!

(Nathan thinks about what he just said and comes to a realization.)

I’ve been here before!

(Nathan screams then starts to laugh.)

I can get out of here.

(Nathan continues laughing. Nathan notices a bit of light coming from the spot were the dirt that had fallen on him came from. Nathan laughs. Nathan wastes no time. He quickly starts his journey up the big dirt mountain wall.)

These rocks may cut my hands. I may fall. But I will rise again and I will try again.

(Nathan lifts himself up towards the ray of light that’s keeping him going.)

I have become too comfortable in this hole. Now is the time I get out.

"Now is the time I get out."
