FROM THE SENIORS Lokesh Chandra Kode ,EEE,B.Tech(IV/IV) : Hello everyone!! My journey has ended here today. I am going out as a good matured person with more memories and lessons learnt. Study well, participate in technical, cultural activities and make our department proud. Faculty are the greatest asset to our department, make full use of them. Last but not least enjoy to the fullest during your stay at NITW. Annamadevula Ravi Teja EEE,B.Tech(IV/IV) : Hello mates, I would suggest you to maintain decent academics then after stretch yourself into other arenas and not to leave academics in disguise of so many unnecessary things. To all the gate aspirants in particular, you need to cover entire syllabus and no relaxations here .In prior to the commencement of preparation the collection of good study material(our class notes, standard textbooks, previous gate papers etc) is vital aspect .In the process of preparation you need to write subject wise tests and mock gate exams to know where you stand. To end with, respect your parents, respect your teachers and respect the system you are in. Krishanth Arunasalam , EEE,B.Tech(IV/IV) : In this four years you have to have fun, make friends, "interact", find your passion, organize events, expand your network, maybe meet that special girl/boy, go out for dinners, nap in the summer afternoons, sing, dance, participate in extra-curricular activities, improve your skills, develop new skills, get a job, treat the whole world, get treated by the whole world, try things that you wouldn't usually, bunk class, get kicked out of class, go on tours, be broke and also STUDY. Get out there! Good luck. 45
