Preparatory Placement Activities
In view of enhanced campus placements the Electrical Engineering Association (EEA) inaugurated a program called the “Preparatory Placement Activities (PPA)” which included some modules for the third year students. Looking at the thwarted placements of EEE, the association analyzed the complete scenario. There seemed to be a lot of gap between what the students were in the beginning of their final year and what the corporate expected. We introduced modules including aptitude test, group discussion, personal interviews and skill development program. We managed to squeeze in as many modules as possible into the already packed schedule of the students. Firstly, the students appeared for an aptitude test after which some were shortlisted for group discussion.
