Vishay Expands MIL-PRF-39006 / 33 Tantalum Capacitor Range
Vishay Intertechnology, has expanded the capacitance range of its M39006 / 33( Style CLR93) tantalum-cased, hermetically sealed wet tantalum capacitor. Offering established reliability for critical avionics and aerospace systems, the device is the industry’ s first such capacitor qualified to the MIL-PRF-39006 / 33 specification to offer capacitance from 15 μ F to 680 μ F over a wide voltage range from 50 V to 100 V. Offered in the axial T1, T2, T3, and T4 case sizes, the M39006 / 33 features capacitance tolerance of ± 10 % and ± 20 % standard and maximum ripple current of 2750 mA. The device operates over a temperature range of-55 ° C to + 85 ° C, to + 125 ° C with voltage derating. Smallest DC / DC Step-Down Power Modules by Texas Instruments
Texas Instruments( TI) introduced a pair of 12-V, 10-A, 4-MHz step-down power modules that provide a power management solution that is 20 percent smaller than any other 10-A power module-based solution available today. The easyto-use SWIFT TPSM84A21 and TPSM84A22 DC / DC modules integrate power MOSFETs, shielded inductors, input and output capacitors, and passives into a tiny, low profile footprint. The TPSM84A21 with a voltage output of 0.55 V to 1.35 V and the TPSM84A22 with a voltage output of 1.2 V to 2.0 V are available in volume now through the TI store and authorized distributors. Offered in a 20-pin quad flat micro( QFM) package, the modules are priced at US $ 8.63 in 1,000-unit quantities.
